Bishop Drew’s Keys for M.Y.O.B.

1. Avoid gossip. People love gossip. It’s exciting to feel like you are in the know about some drama that is unfolding. The problem is that gossip causes unnecessary stress in your life.

2. Accept other people as they are. People are often a mess. Many are trying to work through the personal trauma or heartbreaks.

3. Accept responsibility for your thoughts and feelings. We lose a lot of our power and peace of mind by giving our emotions over to other people. We cannot control the actions of others, but we can control how we respond to those actions.

4. Don’t form unnecessary opinions. Ask yourself, “Do I need to have an opinion on this?” So, what if Trump talks too much? So, what if Kamala laughs too much?

5. Wasting Time on Others’ Business Is a Waste of Time! We are only allotted so much time. Make our time count for something positive.
