Directive can be an official act or instruction. The Word of God gives us many directives for life. Here is something to know. Every directive will be challenged. It comes to mind the directive given by Jesus, “Let us go over to the other side.” To get to the other side, the disciples and Jesus had to cross a sea by boat. Along the way, a great storm tried to sink their ship. Jesus rebuked the wind and calmed the sea. We do well to remember our personal directives will be challenged. We also do well to remember, “If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Mark 4:35 – “On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” (NKJV)
