Abraham had to be delivered of three issues before he became totally obedient. When he became totally obedient to Jehovah – God’s command, he meets a King, Priest Melchiaedek. He receives communion for the first time. Abraham could never have offered up Isaac if he had not received communion from Melchizedek.
